Pentingnya Konfesional Lutheran sebagai Ketahanan Gereja di Era Disrupsi Spiritual

Gereja-gereja Lutheran di Indonesia dan dunia menghadapi gelombang disrupsi
spiritual yang semakin intens. Disrupsi ini ditandai oleh proliferasi spiritualitas hibrida,
sinkretisme teologis, dan erosi identitas eklesiologis yang berlangsung secara perlahan
namun nyata. Artikel ini mengkaji pemahaman konfesional Lutheran sebagaimana tersimpan
dalam Buku Konfesi (Book of Concord, 1580) sebagai fondasi ketahanan teologis yang relevan
bagi gereja di era kontemporer. Melalui metode penelitian pustaka yang berfokus pada
dokumen-dokumen gereja Lutheran, artikel ini menganalisis Pengakuan Augsburg,
Katekismus Besar dan Kecil Luther, serta Formula Konkord. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa
dokumen-dokumen konfesional ini memuat kerangka teologis yang koheren dan
komprehensif untuk menghadapi tantangan relativisme doktrin, pasar spiritualitas
kontemporer, dan hilangnya identitas komunal iman. Ketahanan gereja, demikian artikel ini
berargumen, bersumber bukan pada kemampuan adaptasi programatik semata, melainkan
pada kedalaman akar konfesional yang memungkinkan gereja mengenal dirinya sendiri,
mempertahankan integritas injil, dan menavigasi lanskap religius yang kompleks dengan
kejernihan teologis.
