Kristologi Kolose 1:15-23 sebagai Pola Apologetika terhadap Filsafat Asketis dan Proto-Gnostisisme

Artikel ini mengkaji fungsi apologetis Kristologi dalam Kolose 1:15-23 terhadap ancaman filsafat asetis
dan proto-Gnostisisme yang melanda komunitas Kolose pada abad pertama Masehi. Berbeda dari kajian
sebelumnya yang cenderung mendekati teks ini dari perspektif teologi dogmatis, penelitian ini
menempatkan eksegesis teks Yunani Koine sebagai fondasi analisis utama. Metode yang digunakan
adalah analisis semantik leksikografis terhadap istilah-istilah Kristologis kunci seperti eikon, prototokos,
dan pleroma, ditambah kajian terhadap struktur himne dan logika retoris argumentasi Paulus.
Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Paulus membangun argumentasi Kristologis berlapis yang secara
sistematis menggugurkan premis-premis utama filsafat dualisme kosmis di Kolose, termasuk hierarki
mediator rohani, penolakan terhadap tubuh jasmani, dan klaim kepenuhan di luar Kristus. Setiap
pernyataan Kristologis dalam teks ini merespons secara presisi terhadap satu titik klaim filsafat lawan.
Hasilnya adalah dokumen apologetika yang tidak sekadar reaktif, melainkan proaktif dalam membentuk
imajinasi teologis komunitas berdasarkan keunggulan mutlak Kristus atas seluruh kosmos. Kontribusi
artikel ini terletak pada integrasi analisis linguistik Yunani dengan pembacaan apologetis yang
komprehensif, serta relevansinya bagi pengembangan apologetika kontemporer yang berakar pada
Kristologi biblikal.
